Wong Yuen Sun

Wong Yuen Sun

In the late 1970s, Wong Yuen Sun managed to star in 3 of the most well-known Gu long series - The Legend of The Heroic Knights ( The Twins ), Luk Siu Fung and The Romantic Swordsman. In two of these (except Heroic Knights) series, Wong Yuen Sun was Cecilia Wong Hung Sau's lover.

In Luk Siu Fung 1976, Wong played Sai Mun Chui Suet, a cold and at times inhuman swordsman who devotes his life to his sword. Two years later he would take up a similar role Ah Fei, another cold swordsman in The Romantic Swordsman co-lead with Paul Chu Kong who played the title role.

This interesting biography was written by the knowledgable Ken Cheng. Read Wong's bio.

Carrie Ng Ka Lai

Carrie Bg Ka Lai

Carrie Ng Ka Lai was in 1988 TVB version of The Twins aka Chut Doi Sheung Kiu playing a "King" in a fiefdom of her own with fruity men as her "maids" who services her every needs, just like a real King. Whilst enjoying her richness, she also finds time to torture a blind guy who supposedly knows the secret location to a particular treasure. Carrie Ng was also in The Return of Luk Siu Fung '86 playing Wong Wun Choi love interest.

I included Carrie's biography because I liked her in The Return of Luk Siu Fung alot. I thought she exuded alot of style in the film Naked Killer with Simon Yam and Chingmy Yau and I also feel that she needs more recognition than she deserves. I am glad to know that she has had alot of success with her movie career as well.

This biography, courtesy of Handsoftime.com, though mainly focuses on her successful movie career, it also provides information about her backgroud and her early days as a struggling TVB actress. Read Carrie's bio.
